Dear Family,
Well what an inspirational weekend this has been huh?! I LOVE conference weekend so much because of the spirit that comes from such powerful men of the Priesthood. The soul personal representatives of the Savior himself speaking to us as a whole church body! I hope that everyone went into conference with a few questions in mind! I know that I did, and yet again for the 4th time on my mission, every single one was answered! Family and Friends, the Lord knows us, and the brethren know us. They know our needs, and they know what we need to hear. There was a lot again about marriage and about the priesthood. How central the family is to our heavenly fathers plan! I love how the lord knows exactly what we need to hear and knows just how much fire and brimstone we need to be able to get our acts together and to do it! I want to remind everyone about the promise that was made by Elder Ballard that we need to talk to as many people each day as possible. He has promised us as missionaries that if we will talk to at least 10 people a day, we will baptized twice the amount of people that we have been! He also challenged everyone that was listening to look for, pray about, and then bring one person into the church by Christmas! I know that it is much easier to do as a full time missionary, but I know that if a Prophet of God makes a promise to us, that it is achievable! He would not have challenged us to do something that is impossible. Guys we could bring  millions unto the true church of Christ if we will just bring one person in to the Gospel within the next two and a half months! That is not too hard. We found taught and baptized harry in 4 WEEKS! The Lord is preparing those around us, but we are just too afraid to talk to them, myself included! There are hundreds of people around us that we see on a daily basis and just walk on past them. Think about if the Lord were to walk right next to you while you walked down the street. Do you think that he would be afraid to talk to those people around you? Elder Aidukaitus of the 70 who came and spoke to our mission said those exact words! It is hard to hear and hard to think about, but it will work!! We all just have to drop our fears and our pride and talk to EVERYONE! I know that the Lord will hear and answer our prayers if we will just get down on our knees a few times a day and ask for a very specific person to be placed in our paths! At the end of Elder Ballard's talk, he told President Monson that we have all been instructed, and that we will all be searching for that one! He didn't give us the chance to choose, he told the prophet of God that we would be doing that! I know that I don't want to make Elder Ballard a liar! Me and Elder Fajardo have really been stepping up our games, and really striving to find those who will receive us. I along side the General Authorities invite you all to pray to Heavenly Father that you will be able to over come your fears and invite your friends to take the missionary lessons! It will be so worth it I promise! The Lord loves all his children and needs us to do the inviting. The missionaries will do the rest!

Well Deniella was about 2 hours from being baptized again this week!.. She had a really hard issue in her life come up, and the entire ward rallied around her, and helped her to get back on her feet and start moving again! She recognized just how much the ward loves her and how much the church has done for her. She committed on Monday of last week that she would be baptized on Sunday. As we got closer to it she started to get cold feet again, but still said that she wanted to. She still has a few doubts, but said that she would go open minded into conference, and that if she got her answers that she would go through with it. We were sooo excited when we listened to all of the talks about going to church then that great talk about Joseph Smith and all of that. We thought that for sure she would have felt the spirit about it. Satan got to her yet again though, and so she fell again. She is still meeting with us though, and hasn't kicked the thought out completely, but is still struggling a little bit. We have just kept praying like crazy for her and know that one day, she will be prepared completely to make this big choice!

Alison is doing so well. She is prepared to be baptized this Sunday if she would want to. She is a little nervous to move her date up a few weeks, but is thinking about it. She will have had all the lessons this Saturday and so now it is all up to her. She is going to be baptized no later then the 26th but we are trying to push a little so that she could get baptized before Elder Fajardo leaves next transfer (if that happens). She LOVED Conference, and has a great testimony of President Monson which is exactly what we wanted to happen! It has been a great joy to watch light enter her eyes and enjoy the journey. It has been very similar to teaching Colby back in Brentwood. She has just moved so quickly, but at the same time has just been super solid. These are the investigators that everyone desires to find!

Well I have got to sign off. I apologize for this email coming so late, but we have been playing basketball in the mornings so that we make sure that we get to it! We tend to spend a lot of time on the computers once we get on it, either on emails, or lds.org! It has been a blast though to be able to email everyone lately! I can't believe that this Saturday I am going to be turning 21! I feel so old! Haha I am officially legal! We are going to have to go out for our birthday dinners either Friday or Saturday, because we ran out of time this past week for Elder Fajardo's I made him breakfast though, so that hopefully made up for it!

I love this church so much! I love the fact that we have living prophets on the earth who lead and guide us under the authority of the savior Jesus Christ! We truly are the only church that has him standing at the head. I invite all who have not yet made the choice to consider this great Gospel to do so. I also invite those who may have wondered from the path a little bit to return and to remember the great blessings that come from full membership in the church. We love you and want you back! Please know that I love you all so much and that my testimony of this work grows stronger and stronger every single day that I get to be apart of it! The lord is truly blessing me as we speak with the spirit of his son! I wish that I could be a missionary for the rest of my life. I look forward to being a member missionary though too! Jon Simon you better be prepared to have work for me to do, cause I am all yours when I get home! We will do great work in that area! Please remember who you are and what you represent when you carry yourself around those not of our faith. Help everyone know that there is something different about us that they just wont understand until they ask! Thank you for everything again and I pray that everyone will enjoy this next week and I will talk to you all again next week!

Love,
Elder Mackay Shelley
